Terror Shall Not Touch You

My friend, “In righteousness, you will be established.” This is God’s promise in Isaiah 54:14. The verse continues, “Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you.” In this world, terror surrounds us. We are terrorised when we lose a loved one, when we suffer at work, when we lose our job, when we fall sick, when our children fail, when we are asked to leave our home and flee. Oh, so many terrors. And then there are the terrors from the wicked devil, from wicked people, from lustful people. Sometimes, people are unable to marry; unable to find the right partner. There’s terror about the future, and tyranny from the wicked devil and people.

But the Bible says, “You have nothing to fear. Terror and tyranny will not come near you.” When God establishes you in righteousness, when you are a child of God, you are protected. Righteousness will go before you, and the Lord will be your rear guard. Your healing will spring forth speedily, as promised in Isaiah 58:8. This is God’s promise for you. God will keep you righteous, and the wicked things of the world, the things that bring terror and tyranny, can never overcome you when Jesus lives in you and you walk in His plan. So each day, read the Word of God. Meditate on it. Ask God to help you walk according to it. Forgive others, and pray for them and for those in need. That’s why Jesus Calls gives you an opportunity to pray for others by connecting your computer system with the Jesus Calls computer system, to receive calls and pray. Or by coming to the Prayer Tower and interceding for others. God will protect you from the terror and tyranny of this world.

Here’s a beautiful testimony. Sis. Lalitha from Nagpur lost her mother when she was just a child. She was the eldest of four siblings, with the responsibility of caring for the others. Soon after, her father also passed away, and they became orphans. The neighbours mocked them, saying, “Who will marry you?” Their hearts were broken, and they lived in fear, terrorised and under tyranny. At that time, she joined the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in Nagpur as a prayer intercessor. Though she herself was under terror, she gave her life to Jesus and began praying for others. She was 40 years old, and people continued to mock her. Then, she met me and my wife, Evangeline, at the National Prayer Tower in Delhi during our visit. We laid hands on her and prayed, declaring that God’s plan for her life would begin in Jesus’ name. In six months, a proposal came from right within Nagpur. She got married on June 2nd, 2023, the same day that Evangeline and I were married, which was also on June 2nd. How wonderfully God honoured her! Her husband works at a tourist company, and their life is so blessed. She said, “I will walk in righteousness and serve people in the Prayer Tower,” and God established her family life. God will do it for you, too.

PRAYER: 
Dear Father, I believe that You will establish me in righteousness and make me walk in Your perfect will. You will not allow any terror or tyranny to come near me, my family, or my future. Lord, always cover me with Your protection and be my rear guard. Heal every broken area in my life and restore what has been lost. Strengthen me to forgive others and to walk in Your love and grace. Help me to meditate on Your Word daily and obey Your voice. Use me to be a blessing to others, even when I face my own struggles. Let everything that is terrorising me flee, and let Your sovereign peace rule over my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
