Pray, Praise, and Give Thanks! – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

“I will make sure the fame of Your name is honored in every generation as all the people praise You, giving You thanks forever and ever.” (Psalm 45:17)
My precious friend, the Lord has already planned everything for your blessing today. The promise given to you today is from Psalm 45:17, in which the psalmist says “I will make sure the fame of Your name is honored in every generation as all the people praise You, giving You thanks forever and ever.” My friend, you should not only pray for God’s blessings but also praise Him. Thirdly, you should thank Him for what He has done.

Praise Him for who He is, for His glory, His power and so on. Also, you should thank Him for what He has given you to enjoy every second of your life. Then, the Lord’s name will be honored through you. So, remember these three. When you come to the presence of God every day, praise Him for who He is.
As you lift Him up higher, you will experience Him as a great God in your life. As you say, “Lord, You are a mighty God and You have all the power to break every mountain,” He will show His power as a mighty God in your life and break every mountain in your life. As you say, “I praise You Lord for Your great love for me,” then you will feel the joy of His presence overflowing in your heart and then go on to thank Him for everything that you have to live in this world. Thank Him for the family He has given you and thank Him for your job. Thank God for even the one grain of rice that you have, then God’s blessings will multiply in everything in your life. As you thank Him for that, God’s grace will multiply and multiply and you will have all sufficiency in everything in the world and you will have all sufficiency in your spiritual walk with God too. Thirdly, after that, pray to God, praying for the will of God to be shown to you. When there are problems in any area of your life, ask God to show you His will concerning it, and the Lord will show it. As you do His will, the Lord will work with you, and everything shall be accomplished for you with the power of God. God will give you the grace to fulfill His will and be blessed.
Prayer:
My loving Heavenly Father,

Thank You for today’s promise. Father, I praise You for You are mighty, powerful, merciful and eternal. Father, I thank You for all the blessings You have given in my life. Father, You know the needs and trials I am going through. Lord, show me Your will concerning them, help me to fulfill it, and bring glory to Your name.
