Love that cares and carries – Samuel Dhinakaran
“You whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born.” Isaiah 46:3
My dear friend, today, you are not alone! God is here to strengthen you. Before we dive into today’s promise, I would like to wish all the Godly women out there a very Happy Women’s Day! Today’s promise is from Isaiah 46:3 where the Lord says, “You whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born.” What a loving God we have!
In a story, there is a conversation that goes on between a man and the Lord Jesus on a seashore. The man asks the Lord, “Lord, there are two sets of footprints on the sand till this moment. But now that I am facing problems, I see only one set of footprints on the sand. Have You walked with me all this time and have left me now when I am facing many problems?” To this, the Lord replied, “No, My son, you see only one set of footprints now because I am carrying you on My shoulders through these problems.” What a beautiful story!
My friend, likewise, you are going to feel the wonderful warmth of being carried on the Lord’s shoulders. He says to you, “Since your birth and since the time you were born, I have upheld you and carried you. I have never let you down.” So, be encouraged that in the future also the Lord will never let you down. He is going to give you the divine rest of being carried on His shoulders. Yes, He will give your weary heart rest from all your worries of your responsibilities and troubles. Have a blessed day!
Prayer:
Loving Lord, thank You for speaking to me through Your Word. Lord, even now, I submit myself before You to be carried by You. I am no longer taking my burdens upon myself. Lord, I thank You for being with me always. I am never alone in my responsibilities. Lord, Your word says that Your yoke is light. Lord, even as I am praying now, lighten my burden so that I will find rest and peace in You. Strengthen me and carry me through my difficulties for I trust in You alone. Let Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
