Ask with faith! – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran

“And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” (Matthew 21:22)
Once, the Lord Jesus sent His disciples on their way and stayed behind to pray alone. When the disciples were sailing in the boat, winds started to blow and rock the boat to and fro. The disciples were panicking with fear wondering if they will drown. In the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went to them walking on the water. Seeing him walking on the sea, they thought it must be a ghost and became even more fearful. Jesus calmed them saying ‘It is I, do not fear’. Immediately, Peter said ‘Lord if it is You, command me to walk on the sea like You’. The Lord said, ‘Come Peter walk with me’. He then got down and tried to walk, but the waves were beating hard against him that he became scared and started to sink. He cried, ‘Lord, I am sinking, please save me’. Jesus replied, ‘You of little faith, why did you doubt? What happened to your faith?’. Saying so, He caught him by His hand and got him on the boat. Then the winds and the waves died down (Matthew 14:23-33).

A brother named Rajkumar from Dindigul wrote us a testimony. He had never prayed to the Lord Jesus. He had a good job and had two children. But suddenly he lost his job. Not knowing what to do, he pledged his wife’s jewels and were living with that money. All the jewels had to be pledged. One day he happened to watch the Jesus Calls TV programme on Sathiyam TV. During prayer, I had said that God will give back all that had been lost in double portion. He had been moved to tears hearing the prayer and had prayed along for the blessing. Later, he had visited the Prayer Tower and got prayed. Very soon the Lord had blessed him with a good job. Today, they are blessed and living as a happy family.

Today make a prayer asking God to come into your life and make all things straight. When God comes into your life, all storms will die down and your life will become peaceful. You need not go anywhere searching for Him. He himself will come to you (John 15:16). Even today the Lord is looking for you. He will bless you double fold.

Prayer:
My Loving Lord,

The problems in my life are causing me grief and distress. But I choose to trust You and not worry over my burdens. I choose to cling to you firmly. I praise You for You will surely deliver me from all my troubles. Your Word says that I will receive what I ask in faith so do unto me just as I believe.

I ask this in Your mighty name Lord Jesus,
