If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! (Matthew 7:11) Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal emperor of India was a very rich king.  He owned lot of diamonds that he used to keep few diamonds in his pocket all the time.  Once, he went to Mecca where he became so friendly with Mullah.  As a remembrance, he presented a diamond to Mullah.  After sometime, Mullah went to a diamond shop trying to sell it. A merchant over there was much surprised, and said, “It is such a valuable diamond and fetches you crores of Indian rupees.” 

If the heart of an earthly king can bless his friend with such costly diamonds, how much more your heavenly Father would do for you.  This is what the Bible says, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (Matthew 7:11).  God is good and He finds pleasure in making you glad by fulfilling the desires of your heart.  He assures, “He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all – how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:32). Yes, God who owns the whole earth would not restrain any good gift from His children.  Bible encourages you today, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change” (James 1:17).  So, ask, believe and receive His best!  Open your mouth wide and He will bless you with every good thing.
