Be Bold for Your Deliverance is Coming! – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

“Stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.” 2 Chronicles 20:17

My precious friend, today’s promise is taken from 2 Chronicles 20:17, “stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.” According to this promise, today, the Lord is going to deliver you from all your fears, your troubles and your tribulations. So, please be encouraged.

Of course, our Lord Jesus said “in this world, you will have troubles and tribulations. But be of good cheer. I have conquered this world.” My friend, there is no trouble, no tribulation and no shame that Jesus Christ has not gone through. You are the child of Jesus. You are in Jesus and Jesus is in you. So, for the sake of Christ, you may also have to go through the same path. It is only as you go through these paths of tribulations, troubles and shame and battles, that you are able to cry out to Jesus and see the face of Jesus shining upon you and the hand of Jesus working for you. That’s why God allows it so that you may find Jesus in the midst of all these tribulations, troubles and trials. He says, “My child, I am with you always, even through all these difficult paths, just to transform you into My Image. So, every time you call unto Me, I will answer and give you a new heart to be transformed into My own Image.” My friend, when you are thus transformed into the Lord’s Image even as you go through tribulations and trials, you will have the power that the Lord has to overcome them and be more than a conqueror. The Lord is reassuring you to ‘Stand firm and see the deliverance that He will give you.’ “After you have suffered for a little while, the Lord says, ‘I will come and restore you. I will strengthen you and establish you. I will place you in high places and will elevate you.” What a great promise we find in I Peter 5:10! 

My friend, today, stand still and see the salvation of God. He will deliver you and you will be transformed into the image of Christ, as you go through this tribulation. This promise verse suggests that you will not have to fight this battle but instead take up your position, stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will give you. Yes, you need not fight the battles of trials, tribulations, shame and oppressions of the devil. The Lord says, ‘take up your position which is to get transformed into the Image of Jesus, wherever you are. When you are thus transformed by the Lord, you will receive the power to be His witness to break the power of the devil automatically. Yes, when you thus rise up with Jesus, the devil flees; the problems, the shame flees and you become more than a conqueror. Everything in the world gets transformed and makes you turn into gold as Job said. May the Lord grant you this grace, today. You are indeed more than a conqueror through Jesus. 

Prayer:

Loving Heavenly Father, I thank You for encouraging me with Your promise. I pray that You will transform me into Your Image and help me to stand firm in my position. Lord, I pray that You will grant me the power to overcome every problem that is rising against me and make me more than a conqueror. Thank You, Lord, for always being with me. Let Your name alone be glorified. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
