Be glad and experience greatness – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran

“Do not be afraid, land of Judah; be glad and rejoice. Surely the Lord has done great things!”  (Joel 2:21)
Dear friend, the Lord says that as it is in Joel 2:21 you need not be afraid. The verse goes like this “Do not be afraid, land of Judah; be glad and rejoice. Surely the Lord has done great things!” The Lord says, ‘Let Me do great things among you.’ One more thing that God says we must do along with being unafraid is to be glad and to rejoice in the Lord.

Today, as we celebrate the Republic Day, the Lord promises to bless our nation with this Word. He wants us to allow Him to do great things in this nation. Let not your fear come in between. Do not be afraid, just be glad and rejoice. This is the very same words of God. The Lord did the same thing in the life of a couple. They are seventy four and seventy two years old. This brother called Selvanayagam testified like this, “I am a heart patient and I also have diabetes. My wife and I both became infected with Covid-19. I couldn’t find a room for my wife to be admitted. I was running everywhere and could find only one room in a hospital very late in the night. The doctor said that there was no hope for both of us and it was too late for any kind of treatment. However, I didn’t lose hope. I was not afraid at all because of the reason that I am serving in the Jesus Calls ministry and I am praying for millions. I am praying for people through the Telephone Prayer Tower, so I had faith that no harm shall touch us and the Lord will definitely heal us.” This was his hope.  The Lord honored this brother’s faith in the Lord, and miraculously healed them both against the hopelessness brought by Covid-19.
Do you know what this brother said finally? “The Lord has done great things for me. I am so filled with the joy of the Lord” and he was jumping with joy. You too will say the same thing dear friend. As in Psalm 126:3, “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy,” the Lord do great things among you and in our nation.

Loving Father,

Let Your hand of blessing come upon me and perform mighty miracles for me. Just as You have blessed the couple, bless my family too. Take away fear out of my life. Bless the nation of India and perform great things for our beloved nation.
