Bless And Be Blessed! – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
Blessed is the one who considers the poor! In the day of trouble, the Lord delivers him. (Psalm 41:1)We read in the Bible about Job who was tormented by troubles, but he did not give up his faith. Even in that painful situation of mockery and unpleasant comments from his friends, he prayed for them. Something amazing happened when he showed concern even to those who poured distressing words over him. The Bible says, “After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before” (Job 42:10). Today’s promise for us is, “Blessed is the one who considers the poor! In the day of trouble the Lord delivers him” (Psalm 41:1) and according to this verse, miracle happened for Bina Guria of Tensa, Odisha. Read her testimony given below, to see how God rewards our good works!
“For the past seven years I was suffering from digestion disorder. Due to this indigestion problem, my stomach would bloat. I was much troubled. Before coming to this Jesus Calls Rourkela Prayer Festival, 2018, I prayed that God should call my name and heal me completely. While Dr. Paul Dhinakaran was praying, I joined along with him and prayed. At that moment Dr. Paul Dhinakaran called my name and said, “Bina, you are also oppressed by evil powers and indigestion problem. You are not able to retain anything that you eat and you are crying for your healing. Lord is showing me your name. He is coming to you Bina. He is transforming your life because you have thought of many people and taken care of many children. Jesus loves you. He is releasing you today. He is filling you with His power and is delivering you.” At that moment, I experienced God touching me and my whole body shook. I felt an electric current passing into my body and I fell down. When I got up, I found that I was healed and completely delivered from my pain. I am feeling very light in my stomach.
Beloved, God has a record of all that you do. He is mindful of you. He has not forgotten you and your good works. Receive your reward today. Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me” (Matthew 25:40). How true are His words! The Lord who sees you would say, “I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept My word and have not denied My name” (Revelation 3:8).
Prayer:Dear Father,
Though I have many needs, give me the grace to sow my time, treasure and good words into the lives of others. I believe that You who care for me more than the sparrows. You are so thoughtful of me. Not one hair of mine would fall down without Your permission. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. Help me to receive my miracle now. Take away every weariness from my spirit. I believe that as You restored double portion to Job, You will do it to me also.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
