Blessing Message

“I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” Psalm 16:8

My dear friend, today we are meditating on Psalm 16:8 “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” Like the Psalmist, let us also keep our eyes fixed on the Lord. He will help you and grant you victory.

Exam season is here! You may have lots to prepare and revise for your forthcoming tests and for your final exams. You may be anxious about your preparations or worried about whether you would be able to pass the exams or not. My friend, let me share my father’s experience and the secret to his success in his academics. My father, Dr. Paul when he was a student would put a chair next to him while studying and invite God, the Holy Spirit to sit next to him and teach him. The Holy Spirit would come and teach him what to study. My father was able to easily understand every single page. He wrote his exams with the help of the Holy Spirit and he scored great marks in all his subjects. Eventually, he got a gold medal in his college and he went on to do his Masters and his PhD at a young age. God thus raised him up to do His will with great honour. My friend, God will honour you too in the same manner. As you invite the Lord to help you, He will come and teach you when you study and will grant you excellent marks in your exams.

How do you receive a high position in your life? We see in I peter 5:6,7, “Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you at the proper time; casting all your anxiety on Him, for He cares for you.” So, when you live in the mighty hand of God, He will exalt you at the right time. Cast all your fear, anxiety and your worries about your exams or future on the Lord. He will teach you what exactly you have to learn and you will see victory in all of your exams. This is not only for students but also for those in business and in jobs, working tirelessly for your efforts to be successful. This is also for those leading families or doing something of a responsibility. Whatever you do, do it with the leading of God, the Holy Spirit. He will lead you and help you to do exactly what you should be doing. He will honour you and lift you up to great heights. So, do not be worried!

Prayer:

Loving Lord, thank You for speaking to me through Your Word. Lord, help me to fix my eyes on You in all circumstances. Never to doubt or waver from You. Lord, I thank You because You care for me so much. I put all my worries, anxieties and fears about the future on You. Lord, fill me with Your peace. Let Your strength be perfected in my weaknesses. Help me to face every situation with boldness. Help me, Lord, to be victorious in all that I do. Grant me the wisdom and the understanding to succeed in all my endeavours and glorify Your name. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
