You Receive Super Power Through The Holy Spirit – Stella Ramola

“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.” Acts 1:8

My dear friend, today we are meditating on the promise verse found in Acts 1:8 where the Lord says, “you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.” Yes, my dear friend, according to this promise, you will receive power when the Holy Spirit is in you.

How do you receive this Holy Spirit? The Bible suggests in Romans 8:9 that the Holy Spirit enters you when you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. In other words, when you leave all of your pleasures behind and decide to only need Jesus in your life, His power will fill your heart. So, in whatever you do or say, the Lord will guide you and when the Lord thus guides your every move, it will be of so much significance. Before your encounter with the Lord, you might have been just saying things from your own mind and doing things from your own strength. Hence, your deeds and words might have not been impactful. You might have been just ordinary, mediocre or average like everybody else. But when God starts guiding your every move and action, it will become extraordinary. Yes, your words and deeds will have solutions to people’s problems. You will thus be standing out from a crowd.

My friend, I would encourage you to turn to the Lord Jesus and follow His thoughts and His higher plans for your life. When you thus surrender to Jesus, the results will be amazing. You will be able to lead your family wonderfully. The projects that you do in your job will be extraordinary. The marks that you score in your exams will be amazing. This is because God’s power will be manifested in each and everything you do through the guidance of the Holy Spirit in you. My dear friend, don’t you want this divine power in your life? Today, God is going to make you extraordinary through His power. Ask the Lord to fill you with His Holy Spirit and you will be empowered.

Prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for speaking to me through Your Word. Your word is indeed a lamp unto my feet. Lord, I need Your Holy Spirit in my life. Lord, I pray that You will forgive my sins, cleanse me of all unrighteousness and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Lord, I want to lead a righteous life before You. Empower me with Your Holy Spirit. Lord, I thank You for listening to my prayers and making me experience your wonder-working power in my life. I am more than a conqueror in this world. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
