Your Life Will Be Enlightened – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran

“Those who look to him are radiant…” (Psalm 34:5)
My precious friend, I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. God’s promise for today is from Psalm 34:5, “Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.” My friend, do you have the practice of looking unto God for everything? If your eyes are upon the Lord, do you know what will happen? According to John 1:9 God’s light will shine on you, “The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.”

The true light is our Lord Jesus Christ. When you have the practice of looking unto God, Lord Jesus Christ, we will not face darkness at all. Psalm 18:28 says, “You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.” But Psalm 143:3 says, “The enemy pursues me, he crushes me to the ground; he makes me dwell in the darkness like those long dead.” Yes, the devil longs to bring darkness into the lives of people.
Adam and Eve had a peaceful life in the garden of Eden. They had all the blessings. They were in the presence of God all the time.  But satan came and destroyed the peace. In the same way, we too face temptations in our life. Colossians 1:13 says, “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.” Yes, dear friend, we have to be careful at all times. When you look to the Lord all the time, all blessings will come upon you. Psalm 121:1,2 says, “I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” As it is said in the verse, look to God and He will help you. Then His light will shine for you even in the midst of the darkness in the world. God is looking at you. He alone can deliver you from darkness. Look to God all the time and be protected from all darkness.
Prayer:
Loving Father,

Thank You Lord for being my light. You are my light. Deliver me from all the troubles and temptations. Let Your light shine for me in the darkness that is in the world. May Your light shine through me and bring You glory.

I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
