Your troubles will come to an end – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

“This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; He saved him out of all his troubles.” (Psalm 34:6)
My precious friend, today’s promise is found in Psalm 34:6, which says “This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; He saved him out of all his troubles.” Yes, that is the heart of God. He wants to save you from all your troubles. For that, He hears you. For Him to hear you, you have to cry out to Him. Jesus says in Matthew 5:5 “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.” When you become poor in the standards of God, you become rich on earth. Being poor is to humble yourself before God and not becoming poor in finances, wisdom or stature in life. It is humbling yourself before the Lord. The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:6 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.” Yes, wait for God to exalt you and empty yourself before the Lord.

The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:6 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.” Yes, wait for God to exalt you and empty yourself before the Lord. He will surely make you inherit every blessing He has for you on earth and deliver you from all your troubles. We met a man who was quite rich in the city of Muscat in the country of Oman. He came in his huge car and said to my father and our family, ‘get into the car, I want to drive you around the city’ and he told us his story. He grew up in India and was a cart puller as a young man. He would put the baggage and load which he had to transport from one place to another and pull the cart. It would be very heavy. One day, it was extremely hot and the load very heavy and he was weak. As he pulled the cart, he was walking barefoot on the tar road. In one place the tar had melted and his feet got stuck in it and it feet began to tear. He could not let go of the cart lest he lose everything that he had to get food that day. At that moment, he cried looking up and said ‘who will help me? If at all there is a God in heaven, please help me.’
This poor man cried and the Lord heard him and delivered him out of all his troubles. Barely within a few days, he got job as a laborer in Muscat, Oman. As he went and served in a company, God blessed him. He learnt the trade. He joined only at the lowest level – cleaning the floor and machines was his job. He then rose up higher step by step. Eventually, the owner of the company called him and said ‘son you are doing exceptionally well, so I want you to be a partner with me in this business.’ So, the one who had no education and was pulling carts became a partner of a thriving business in Oman, Middle East. He said ‘the Lord heard me. In the world, there was no one to hear me, but the Lord heard me.’ The Lord hears you as you are meek in the spirit, crying out to the Lord.
