Blessing Message

My friend, the Lord is very pleased with you today. He is happy that you have decided to follow His guidance, and He has promised you something beautiful even today. Please take comfort in Psalm 28:7, which says, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped.”

The Lord is truly our strength and shield of protection. Whenever we feel weak, whenever we fail in our ways of trying to uphold our good character by avoiding evil, or when we falter and stumble in our journey, we call upon Him, and He becomes our strength and our shield. Yes, He helps us in our moments of weakness, and I speak from personal experience. When someone has wronged me, and I feel the urge to retaliate, or when I have been tempted to chase after fleeting pleasures in my college days, to find a partner just like my friends, someone beautiful by my side, I have seen many times the Holy Spirit come to my aid and stand by me. He rises in my heart and helps me in my weakness by whispering in my ear, “Sam, this is the way of the devil. He is trying to trick you and bring harm into your life. These things will not last. These things will not give you fulfilling joy. Do not chase the Lord away from your heart because of these fleeting things.” The Holy Spirit thus strengthens us and helps us in our moments of weakness, my friend.

We can hear a single word from the Holy Spirit, and that can change our human perspective. It can turn us away from evil desires and lead us to focus on godly things. By keeping Jesus with us, we can save our hearts. This Holy Spirit will be your shield and your source of strength. When you say “Yes” to the Holy Spirit, you can feel Him filling you with joy in your heart. This is because you have honoured His voice and not stamped on the blood of Jesus, which was shed for you, and have kept His ways. So, my friend, this is how the Lord will help you. He will be close to you from now on. Will you invite Him to become your strength and your shield?

PRAYER: 

Loving Lord, thank You for sending the Helper, the precious Holy Spirit, to be my constant strength and shield. I surrender myself completely to You and commit to obeying Your voice at all times. Your word gives me a sound mind and leads me on the path of life. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I can be guided by Your word, strengthened to avoid every temptation and evil scheme of the enemy, and protected from all harm and danger. Lord, I want to honour Your voice and the precious blood of Jesus by keeping Your ways always. Please help me to walk in Your ways and receive Your constant strength and protection in all situations. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
