Will your blessings remain? – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran

My dear friend, today I am sharing with you a promise from Genesis 12:2 that the Lord has given you. In this verse, God says, “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you. I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.” I also want to share the next verse, Genesis 12:3, which says, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse. And all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” What a beautiful promise of God!

God’s blessings are not only for us but for our children and grandchildren as well. Deuteronomy 7:9 states, “The Lord keeps His covenant, His loving kindness to a thousand generations.” By blessing us, God is showing His love for generations to come. The Lord blessed Abraham and then made the Abrahamic covenant with his son Isaac. He renewed His covenant with Isaac’s son Jacob and then made the Davidic covenant with King David. Finally, this promise was fulfilled in the new covenant through Jesus, who was called the Son of Abraham. Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Redeemer, has restored everything through this Abrahamic covenant. Through His blood, we are cleansed from all our sins and are now blessed and free from sin. The Lord will renew His covenant with you and your family, as stated in Isaiah 59:21: “As for Me, this is My covenant with you. My Spirit who is in you and My words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from you. It will not depart from your children’s mouths, too. It will not depart from your children’s offspring, too.” The Lord continuously keeps His covenant. When the Lord says, “I will bless you,” He will bless you, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. No one can change this blessing that has come upon you. Whoever curses you will be cursed, and whoever blesses you will be blessed. You have so much blessing in you, and the Lord will make you into a great nation and make your name great.

On one of my birthdays, I received a special message from the Lord. It was the same verse that appears in Hebrews 6:14. The Lord said to me, “With blessings, I will bless you, Evangeline. With multiplying, I will multiply you.” As I look back on my life now, I am overwhelmed by how much the Lord has blessed me. I am truly grateful to God. I encourage you to also praise Him for all the blessings that He will shower upon you.

PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You with a grateful heart, asking for Your blessings to be poured upon me. As You have promised to bless me, I pray that You will make me great and let the people of the nations be blessed through me. Lord, I ask You to remove all the things that are hurting me and displacing me. I pray that You turn every curse into a blessing in my life. Father, I believe in Your promise to bless me and my generations continuously. Let me not lack any good thing in my life. I trust that You will never stop doing good to me. I pray that Your blessings, goodness, and grace will follow me and that I will be lifted up to greater heights. Thank You, Lord, for lifting me to the next level.  In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
