Strengthen your hands – Samuel Dhinakaran
“Do not be afraid, but let your hands be strong.” (Zechariah 8:13)
Dear friend, today is a day of good news and it is coming straight from Almighty God which is found in Zechariah 8:13, “Do not be afraid, but let your hands be strong.” Today, God is going to make your hand strong. Are you afraid of something big that you have to do or something new that you have to step into or something scary that is coming against you? You might be trembling my friend but God says, “Do not be afraid.” Keep your hands strong. Since God has promised to make your hands strong pray claiming the promise like Nehemiah, “Now strengthen my hands.”
One time I went to jump off a building as an adventure. Of course I had ropes on me but it was scary because I had to take a step out of the building into nothing. I had to make that jump and there was nothing beneath me. So my feet were trembling. But the man behind me said, “We’ve got you. Our ropes are on you.” So I trusted that and made the leap and it was a fun thing. Similarly, not just a rope but you’ve got Almighty God holding you saying, “I have everything under control in your life.” Keep confessing, “The LORD will work out his plans for my life for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever.” (Psalm 138:8)
So trust God and make that leap of faith my friend. The worst thing you can do is stay hiding not doing anything. That’s what the devil wants you to do. He wants you to hide and be silent. So even if there’s a fearful thing before you, get up and do something with your hands and the Lord will lead you to do something beautiful. Your ways will prosper. The Lord will fulfill His plans for you. He will help you go forward and accomplish great things. He will give you success in everything. Lose all your fears. The God who strengthened the hands of Nehemiah to build the walls of Jerusalem will strengthen your hand and accomplish every work you start.
Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus,
In this fearful moment I have no one but You Lord. But thank God for I have You who is all I need in this whole universe. You have everything good in store of me so I praise You. I trust You and I move forward Lord. Bless me as I take this leap of faith. Make my heart and my hands strong. Do miracles for me.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
