Beautification – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran

Dear friend, the Bible says in Psalm 149:4, “For the Lord takes pleasure in His people. He will beautify the humble with salvation.”

As we declared this year as the ‘Year of Beautification,’ I believe that God will beautify us instead of ashes. Those who are gentle and kind-hearted are humble. As stated in I Peter 3:4, “The beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit is so precious to God.” Gentleness is one of the fruits of the Spirit, which results from the presence of God within us. Jesus said in Matthew 11:29, “I am gentle and humble in heart,” and God wants us to be the same. God wants us to have a rich salvation, as the Bible says in Isaiah 33:6, “God is a rich store of salvation.” Humble people have salvation in a rich way.

Recently, we were in Arunachal Pradesh for a Prayer Festival. We witnessed people who were so humble there. They simply believed in Jesus. Normally, on the first day of the meeting, there will not be much of a crowd. But in Arunachal Pradesh, even on the first day, the ground was full. From the first day to the last day of the meeting, I saw people being delivered from witchcraft powers and demonic powers and were getting healed of their sicknesses. God saved so many lives there! He also filled many people with the power of the Holy Spirit. Waves and waves of the Holy Spirit were moving throughout the ground, and the Lord thus blessed the people with salvation. Indeed, those humble people were adorned with the beauty of salvation. This same anointing will also come upon you today. The Lord certainly beautifies the humble with salvation!

PRAYER:

Dear loving Father, I humbly come before You and ask for Your salvation to beautify me. Please place the crown of beauty on my head and remove all crying and weeping from my life. I pray for deliverance from all forms of oppression and sickness. By the end of this year, let Your beauty be manifested in me, setting me apart from others as Your beautiful child. May Your beautiful face always shine upon me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
