God Delights in Blessing His Servants – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

My precious friend, the Lord wants His servants to be fed and blessed. In Isaiah 65:13, the Lord promises that “My servants will rejoice.” Yes, the Lord indeed wants His servants to rejoice always! The Bible says in Zephaniah 3:17 that the Lord rejoices over us with singing. But when do we become His servants? The Scripture says, ‘When we are with Him’. The Lord chose His disciples to be with Him. Are you with the Lord? Are you doing His will? Have you started your day saying, ‘Today I must fulfil all that God wants me to fulfill’? Do you say you are here in this world to fulfill God’s purpose? Then, you are truly God’s servant.

Regardless of your work, be it in the lab, in the class, at home, in your play, while making music, doing social work, or in your office, if you take everything as God’s work and do it with all your heart, the Lord will come and make you rejoice. He will rejoice over you, too. This will make you happy. And then, the Lord says, ‘I will see that My servants eat and have enough to drink. They will never go thirsty. They will never go hungry.” When Jesus was in this world, He asked His disciples, ‘You were with Me all these days. Tell Me, did you lack anything when you were with Me?” They replied, ‘No, Lord.’ They never lacked anything. ‘You gave us everything – divine food, divine directions and miracles whenever we needed such as healing and so on. You gave us food. When we didn’t have fish, You miraculously made sure that two boats of fish were provided when we cast the net. You provided a house for us everywhere. We didn’t lack anything.”

Those who seek the Lord shall lack nothing because you are God’s servant. My friend, remember to “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all the blessings will be added to you.” As God’s servant, you will rejoice! And the Lord will rejoice over you. God will make you increase, and as you increase, everyone will say, ‘This is God’s child. That’s why he/she is blessed.’ You will be a sign for people to find the Lord and be blessed. May God grant you this grace today.

PRAYER:

Precious Lord, I am grateful for promising me that You will make me rejoice. I pray that You will help me become worthy of Your calling over my life and draw me closer to You so that I will fulfill all Your purposes in my life. Lord, I commit all the work I am about to do today to You and ask that Your will be done through my efforts. Let my words and actions please You, for Your joy is my strength. Thank You for being my sole Provider and for promising me that I will lack nothing. I believe that You will make me rejoice and be glad in You always. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
