Find Refuge in Christ the Rock – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

Dear friend, today’s promise assures that God is your Rock and you can always find refuge in Him. Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Accordingly, Christ is our Rock, our solid refuge.

Yes, the Bible clearly says you and I are established on the Rock – Jesus Christ. This foundation ensures that we will not be shaken and will be built into a beautiful palace. Even if the winds blow and the rain falls, we will be strongly founded in the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, do not be afraid. As per I Corinthians 10:4, you are indeed standing and connected to the spiritual Rock, Jesus Christ. This Rock provides you with water – a spiritual drink. Yes, the Lord gives you the River of Life, which is the Living Water. This enables you to live as a child of God even amidst the dryness of the world. When Jesus was sitting at the Samaritan well, He became thirsty and longed for worldly water. A woman from Samaria came to fetch water, and Jesus asked her, “Give me some water to drink.” She replied, “You are from another tribe. I am from another tribe. How can I give water to You? it is not our custom.” But Jesus said, “Let Me give you the Living Water which will transform your soul, your life, and build your family life. You will live as God’s child.” The Lord revealed, “You have been living with five husbands. The man whom you are living with now is not your husband.” The Samaria woman was dry in life as she was disappointed in being rejected five times. But Jesus gave her Living Water and transformed her life.

That’s what Jesus wants to give you. He not only gives Living Water but also says, looking at His disciple, “Simon Peter, you are being made as a Rock. You are Peter, the Rock. Upon you, I will build My church, my people. They will receive Living Water through you and live.” Today, God wants to give you His Living Water and transform you into a Rock, too. Will you surrender to Him? You shall find refuge in Him and become a blessing!

PRAYER:

Dear Lord, I am so grateful for the gift of Living Water that You have given me. Thank You for anointing me with this amazing gift and transforming my life so that I can help transform the lives of others. Your Living Water has nourished my soul and has given me strength to face life’s challenges. Thank You for being my Rock and making me stronger each day. I believe that with You as my sure foundation, I will not be moved. I am thankful for the work You are doing in my life and for the promise that You will build me into a beautiful palace and glorify Your name. I find refuge in You alone. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
