I will make you increase – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

My precious friend, today God wants to establish a covenant with you as in Genesis 17:7. He says, “I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.” This is the covenant God made with Abraham. He asked Abraham to leave his father’s house and go where the Lord tells Him to go. Abraham was instructed to simply follow the Lord’s instructions though he had to travel miles and miles for days and years without questioning where God was taking him.

Abraham walked with his family: just he, his wife and his servants. God’s promise to Abraham as a part of the covenant was that He Himself will be Abraham’s great and exceedingly great reward as in Genesis 17:2. God also promised him that He would multiply Abraham and make him a great nation. He would do this because Abraham left everything, trusted and followed the Lord.

Even today, God is making the same covenant with you dear friend. As in 2 Corinthians 6:17, He says, “Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” He goes on to say, “I will be a father to you. You’ll be my son. You will be my daughter. You will be my people and I will be your God.” Would you say, “Yes, Lord? Give me Grace not to touch any unclean thing. Help me to separate myself from the evil and the wickedness of the world. I will follow you and I will do what you ask me to do.” Then God will bless that covenant. He says that it will be an everlasting covenant between you and Him.  In Isaiah 54:10, God says, “Though the mountains be shaken, and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.” Yes, God’s grace will never be taken away from you. He will protect it. The Bible says in Isaiah 51:2,”God called Abraham when he was alone. God blessed him and increased him.” God will do the same thing for you as you are under the covenant with God. May God give you this grace. God bless you.

Prayer:

Loving father, Protect me as I am obeying You absolutely. Give me the grace to be under the covenant separating myself from the world and resting in You. Now bless me and increase me Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
