House filled with Rich Treasures – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran

Dear friend, may the grace and blessings of our Lord be upon you and your household in abundance. As stated in Proverbs 15:6, “In the house of the righteous, there is much treasure, but in the revenue of the wicked is trouble.” This passage emphasizes the importance of being righteous and the benefits that come with it.

In Psalm 112:3, the Bible further reinforces this point by stating that “Wealth and riches are in his house.” This passage indicates that prosperity and success are inherent in living a righteous life. When people bless newlyweds, they pray for them to be blessed with sixteen types of wealth. This is a testament to the fact that God can bless us with all kinds of riches. However, in Proverbs 3:33, the Bible warns that “The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but He blesses the home of the righteous.” This passage underscores the importance of living a life of righteousness and the consequences of not doing so. The wicked, according to Isaiah 48:22, will never know peace. This is because they reject God and refuse to live a virtuous life. As Isaiah 57:20 states, “Those who reject God will be like the restless sea, which is never still but continually stirs up dirt and mud.” This passage reveals the turmoil and unrest that comes with living a life of wickedness. On the other hand, the righteous are blessed richly, as Proverbs 10:22 indicates. The Lord adds no sorrow to their blessings, which means that they can enjoy their wealth without any negative consequences. In Genesis 26:12-13, we see that Isaac, a righteous man, was blessed greatly by God. Despite a famine, he planted crops and harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted. As a result, he became a very wealthy man, and his wealth continued to grow. The reason for this is that God’s presence is always with the righteous. When we look to God and depend on Him, we receive an abundance of grace. Isaac was a man of prayer and depended entirely on God. Even when searching for a wife, he went to a solitary place and prayed to God. Similarly, as we look to God, He will pour out blessings upon us that we cannot contain. As stated in 1 Timothy, “God richly provides us with everything for us to enjoy.”

Dear friend, the righteous man is always blessed, and people will bless him, saying, “They are blessed by the Lord.” So, I would encourage you to keep striving to live a life of righteousness and enjoy the blessings that come with it. May the wealth and riches of the Lord be in your home, too. May you experience much treasure and all kinds of wealth.
