God Of Restoration Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

“I will restore you to health and heal your wounds.’’ (Jeremiah 30:17)
It is such a joy to declare God’s blessing specially for this March month. I want to remind you of God’s promise for this month found in Jeremiah 30:17, “I will restore you to health and heal your wounds.’’ Yes, God is about to restore and resurrect your life. God’s restoration is bringing back all that you have lost so far. His resurrection is bringing to life that which is dead and finished in your life. Don’t be afraid! Jesus does not bless you in just meagre manner.  He gives you the fullest blessings richly to enjoy! Yes, He says, “I will restore your health. I will heal all your wounds.”  He understands your wounds. Today, you may have several wounds caused by sin and sinful pleasure. Roman 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”  Therefore, Jesus is here to say“I will restore everything My children have lost.”  On the cross, darkness of sin, sickness, shame and curse was inflicted upon Jesus. Beloved, He lost His glory on the excruciating cross so that He may restore the glory of salvation to you and me.

An elderly woman went to see one of her friend in the hospital. She was thinking in her heart, “I am going to meet my beloved friend.  She is a beautiful woman.  From her young age she has neither blemishes nor spots in her skin.  She has a beautiful face.” But as she entered the ward, she was shocked and couldn’t recognize her friend. Her friend had a very dark and shrunk skin. She had cancer. Instead of that beautiful skin, there were boils everywhere. Her skin was full of wounds. She was crying for a long time. The woman lost her beauty because of illness.
But, Jesus who was perfect, lost His beautiful form for our sins. We read about this in Isaiah 53:4-5, “Surely He took up our pain and bore our suffering…He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities.” He went through untold agony. His body was full of wounds and beyond recognition, so that you might be restored with His beauty in your life again.  He understands and knows all your problems, losses, and your helpless position. My beloved, none of your hair shall fall on the ground without His permission. You will lack nothing. Every tear you shed has been counted. God will compensate everything and you will be blessed in double measure. He will restore everything that you have lost. Your hope for a divine restoration will not be deferred.
Prayer:
Dear Father in heaven,

I thank You for Your goodness.  Your grace has carried me this far.  In all the dark times, Your words have comforted me. If it were not for Your love, I would not have crossed all these hurdles. Father, You know all my losses.  You know my shame.  Restore with your good gifts in double-measure for every loss.  May Your name alone be glorified.

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
