Great Peace Bro. D.G.S Dhinakaran

“Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.” (Psalm 119:165)
Loving God’s law is something more than reading or meditating the Bible.  It means loving Jesus Himself. When such a love springs forth for His words, God will keep your minds in perfect peace because you trust in Him (Isaiah 26:3).

Once I met a princess who did not know Jesus. My hosts requested me to pray for her. When I met her, I asked, “What is it that you want me to pray for you?” Do you know what she said? She said, “Sir, I have everything in this world; a good husband and a son, I do not have any shortcomings; but in my heart I don’t have peace. Pray that I may have peace.”

Knowing this prime need of mankind which is ‘peace’, while leaving this earth, Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27). Peace that is fabricated and promised by the world, is only fake.  It lasts for a moment and fades away but the peace that Jesus gives is true and eternal. He gives us His peace that is perfect in quality. That is why Jesus added to His words I do not give to you as the world gives.” People are running helter-skelter for peace.  But, the infallible Word of God says, “Jesus is the Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).  It is easy to stay composed at good times.  But, how to have this amazing peace when you are in the eye of the storm?

The Bible says, “Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble” (Psalm 119:165).  Beloved, as long as Jesus is at the centre of your life, you will not stumble.  This trust and dependence on God will guard your hearts and your minds with peace that transcends all understanding in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).  Jesus invites us to trust Him in our storms. To keep you from sickness, depression and relationship problems, love the Word of God and be filled with peace.
Prayer:
Dear Father,

All my energy has been drained in giving my thoughts to my needs and tears. I surrender all my worries that are disturbing me. Help me to trust You and to place my faith in You. Replace my anxiety with Your precious promises. Lord, give me the gift of falling in love with Your Word. Implant Your words deeply in my heart. Fill my spirit, soul and body with Your divine peace.

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
