“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20)
In the Bible, we read about Jesus delivering a demon-possessed man. When Jesus asked, “What is your name?” The evil spirit in the man replied, “My name is Legion.” Jesus commanded it to leave and the spirits left him. When people came to Jesus, they saw this man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and stable in mind. But they were afraid (Mark 5:1-15). Yes, just one word or look from Jesus can commend a divine shift in a person’s life. Nothing is impossible with God. Merely allowing Him to take control over your life brings deliverance and blessings you ever thought of! Here is a testimony from John Joseph, Chennai, India who was an alcoholic. He shares his new-found faith and how the Lord delivered him from addiction.
“Though I knew the Lord Jesus, I was living far away from Him during my young days. As days went by, I became addicted to alcohol and lost everything. At this time, my father also became addicted to drinks. Hence, our family was in ruins. I could not stay without taking drinks even for a single day since then or else my hands and legs would begin to tremble. This rendered me useless to do any work. My mother always used to contact the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower and get prayers for me. At this state, I too began visiting the Prayer Tower and started watching the Jesus Calls television programme. One day when I was at home, I saw a vision. I saw the Lord Jesus standing outside our house and knocking the door. That very day I committed my life to the Lord and a divine peace filled me. From then on, my life has totally changed. Now I am a new man. The Lord is with me and I am doing my own welding business. My business is good. My father also has left his drinking habit and has become a child of God. Now I am sharing the Lord’s love with others.”
Awesome are the works of God. Today, Jesus says to you, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). Will you open your heart and accept Jesus into you. He will make you a new creation by delivering you from all bondages. No fetter can stay unbroken at His name “Jesus”! No sin can stand before the cleansing power of His blood. Yes, no weapon formed against you can ever prosper.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Come into my heart. Make it all yours. Rule my life. Let Your Holy Spirit guide me throughout my life. Stay with me, O Lord. Your presence in me will help me to soar high above others. Let Your kingdom come into my family too.
