Jesus Christ came into this world to set us free from oppression, suppression, sickness and from the works of the devil. He said, “The Spirit of the Lord is on Me….and He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free” (Luke 4:18). Today, Jesus has given the same authority to every child of God to pull down the strongholds of the enemy. His Name, His blood, His promises, His Spirit, His covenant – They are the antidote for all evil seeds sown by the Satan. Here is a dear sister testifying how God transformed her life through the power of the Holy Spirit.
“I am 63 years old now. When I was born, my mother tried to kill me since I was a girl baby. But my father saved me and brought me up. My marriage lasted for only three years. My son was 1½ years old at that time. Without any support from the family, I went through lacks and pain. I then started a business and it failed. My son grew up and completed his schooling but at college, instead of attending classes regularly, he became a wayward child. My pain mounted high. I had no means to pay the house rent, food or clothing. I was languishing between life and death. At this juncture, a sister, who is conducting the Jesus Calls ‘Esther Prayer Group’ met me, comforted me and took me to one of its prayer. Later, she led me into salvation. When I committed my life to Jesus and when the Esther Prayer Group’ members prayed for me filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the Lord granted me complete deliverance from the demonic oppressions. That same evening, I got a part time job. We continued to pray for my son’s transformation in the Esther Prayer Group. The Lord delivered him as well and now he has completed his studies and he is going for a job regularly. Because of the anointing of the Holy Spirit in me, I have received the joy and peace which I had never enjoyed for the past 60 years.”
Bible assures, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36). True deliverance comes only through Jesus. Today, take Jesus inside your heart. As you become a part of God’s family, you will experience His peace, guidance, provision, comfort and fullness in your everyday life. Step forward to your loving Father Jesus and choose to taste His grace. Reject every form of deception that robs you off God’s abundant life. God has better plans for your life!

Loving Father,
Help me to understand the wonders of Your precious redemption. Fill me with Your precious Holy Spirit. Your love for me is greater than anything. I allow myself to comprehend Your love and peace every day. Lord, deliver me from every deception and addiction of the devil. In the name of Jesus’ let every fetter break forth right now. I receive the blessed life from the hands of Jesus,
