God Will Lead You Into Something New! – Stella Ramola
“From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you.” Isaiah 48:6
My dear friend, today, we are meditating on the promise verse which is in Isaiah 48:6, “From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you.” Accordingly, the Lord is going to reveal new things and hidden things that you are not aware of, in your life.
When I think of this verse, I remember an incident that happened in the life of a person named Priya. She has been volunteering at the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower for so many years. After she got married, she stopped volunteering for a while, since she had to take care of her family. During that time, she was preparing for a government job. While she was preparing for the same, people around her discouraged her by saying that she was a married woman and that this was unnecessary stress for her. They kept saying that she will not succeed in getting the job. At this moment, she went to the Prayer Tower and prayed to the Lord diligently saying that she wants to secure the job through hard work and not by giving any bribes. She also continued to serve and volunteer at the Prayer Tower. Do you know what happened? That job posting was only supposed to be open after two years. But right after she prayed at the Prayer Tower which is a week later that posting opened up and she got the job just as she had prayed. She was so happy and she praised God since it was something that was beyond her capacity. God opened up a way for her. Now she is in a high position in the government and she speaks directly to the chief minister.
My friend, today, you may be scared and discouraged about your future. Your future might seem so bleak. You may not be aware of where you are heading to. But the Lord says to you that He will reveal a new thing in your life which you didn’t even know. Maybe you are feeling so unworthy and unsure whether you would be able to fulfill a task. But the Lord will open up new doors for you and show you hidden things just as He did for Sis. Priya and you will walk straight through it. So, no need to be afraid of your future. God will make a way for you!
Prayer:
Loving Lord, thank You for speaking to me through Your Word. You are the Lord who is able to do something new in my life. You can make a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert. So, I look up to You, Lord, from where comes my help. I pray that You will reveal new things and hidden things concerning my life so that I can persevere and walk in Your ways. Let me know exactly what to do in life with Your guidance. Lord, I dedicate my future to You. I believe that You will lead me and will take me to great heights as I walk on Your new path.In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
