“…that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well”. (3 John 2)

Our God is a loving God, and He delights when His children, prosper in their materialistic as well as their spiritualistic lives. And that’s the reason it’s quoted in 3 John 2 “…that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well”. If you feel you’re in the middle of nowhere, then I want to tell you a hard fact; Your Almighty God is with you. He will make the crooked paths straight, break the barriers, will throw open the brass doors and destroy iron bars (Isaiah 45:2). In addition to that, God promises, “I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret place…”( Isaiah 45:3).

With this, I’m reminded of an incident. Many years back, the people of Arabia lived as shepherds and in poverty-stricken conditions. One fine day, a shepherd came rushing to the king and reported this sad tale “Your Highness, something black is bubbling out of the earth in our region. Our sheep drank it and died. You have to do something about it. If we lose our flocks, it’ll be hard for us to survive”. Somehow, this came to the notice of an English man residing in that palace. He was there, to teach English to the king’s children. And he suggested that the king should go and see it for himself, since they were facing such a crisis.
When they went there, the English man was quick to point out; that the black liquid was nothing but petrol. He told the shepherds, “This is not something that will spoil your lives rather, it is precious and will enrich you”. After having tested the site, they began to pump out the expensive petrol. Through this, the poor shepherds became rich sheikhs. Eventually, the people of that region became millionaires and the whole nation became rich.

Yes! My dear friends, God will do the same for you too. As you place your trust in the Lord, He will turn the impossible to possible for you. At times, when you least expected, God will work out things for you. You will enjoy His divine favor. Because God wants you to prosper in all your undertakings. And He promises to bless you according to His Word, “He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land—your grain, new wine and olive oil—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you” (Deuteronomy 7:13). Believe the promises of God and receive it by faith. For God Almighty, goes before you and will remove all hindrances, that have been blocking your path so far.
