You Are Accountable To God
“For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required”. (Luke 12:48)
When God blessed me, I gave myself as a sacrifice to God. I didn’t ask anything in terms of worldly desires, instead I asked the Lord for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to serve Him. Since, then God has been using me as a blessing to millions of people. Once I had to lead a meeting conducted in Gujarat. I just didn’t go stand by myself on that dais but God came with me and helped me to share His powerful Word. As a result, many received the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Likewise, you should arise and shine for the glory of God.

The Gospel of Matthew 25:14-30 talks about the parable of the talents. The master before setting off to his journey called his servants and gave them 5, 2 and 1 talent respectively, according to their ability. When he returned from the journey he wished to take an account from his servants. The first came and returned 10 talents, which made the master happy and so did the second, who traded and added 2 more to what his master gave. But the third one went and hid the talent which made the master infuriate and as a result his talent was taken and given to the one who had 10 more talents. This third servant was sentenced to punishment but the other 2 enjoyed the favor of the master.

SCRIPTURE to LIFE

The talents signify the gifts that the Lord has blessed each one of us with. We should not keep the blessings within ourselves, but use it for the good of others and that’s how we become a channel of blessing to others. So, share the blessings God has blessed you with or else God will take it back from you and give it to somebody else. Whether or not people take note of your work but God surely will. On the flip side, the more you use your gifts for the glory of God, the more He will bless you and add to your talents. Therefore, thank the Lord for the gifts and the skills God has blessed you with and use it for the glory of God. May you become a channel of blessing to the millions.

Prayer:

Loving Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gifts and various talents you have blessed me with. Help me to use it for the good of others. May I never be slack in my work but prayerfully and sincerely do all my tasks making use of the blessings you have blessed me with.
