You’re A New Creation In Christ!
“…if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here! ”. (2 Corinthian 5:17)
When you are washed and cleansed by the blameless and the precious blood of Christ; you are a new creation and the Bible tells us that, “…if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here! ”(2 Corinthian 5:17). What an assurance! From now on, you need not sympathize yourself- that you are “good for nothing” person. All your sins have been crucified, on the cross by the sacrifice made by our Lord Jesus Christ. You are now His child; you belong to Him!
Once, my husband and I had been to Andhra Pradesh for the ministry. Soon after the meeting got over, many people came forward to get prayed for, personally. At that time, a woman who was under the clutches of the evil one, kept banging her head on the floor. When my husband prayed for her, she fainted. After having prayed for all, we returned back to our hotel. While we were relaxing after dinner, that same lady came to see us. She was completely delivered and was thus a new creation. We thanked God for this miracle. That day, the Lord delivered her and she rejoiced of the new life that God blessed her with.
Likewise! My dear beloved, God will deliver you too, from all your problems, your worries, your troubling situation and henceforth you will be a new creature. You will have a new beginning, with God’s Spirit to lead you and guide you. Today, you can boldly say, “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me” (Galatians 2:20). If you have not yet surrendered to the Lord, then you should cry out to Him, saying, “ Lord, you suffered and were bruised for my iniquities. You carried all my afflictions and sorrows on the cross. God Almighty, you sent your only Son, so that I can be set free of all my problems and hence enjoy all the blessings that you have in-store for me”. As you draw near to God, He will accept you, just the way you are. He will remove all your troubles. He is a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5). Also, He has promised to never leave you orphans ( John 14: 18). He will comfort you, console you and make you a new creation.
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father, I thank you for the immense love that you have for me. I seek forgiveness of all my iniquities and pray that you wash me, cleanse me by the most Holy and precious blood of Jesus and create in me a new heart.
In Jesus name, I pray.
Amen
