Desires Granted Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

“You have granted him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips.” (Psalm 21:2)
God is good and His mercy endures forever. He always listens to your wishes, prayers, groans and whispers.  These beliefs are platforms that give assurance that you will receive good gifts.  Look at what the Bible says – “He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all – how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:32).  Beloved, do you have Jesus in your heart?  If so, put aside your unbelief.  Take off your eyes from the situation.  All of your heart’s desires will be fulfilled. Bible assures, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favour and honour; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless” (Psalm 84:11). Ms. Kousalya, a Jesus Calls partner, testifies a string of fulfilled desires in her life:

“As my marriage was getting delayed, I wrote a letter to Jesus Calls for prayers.  Immediately, God arranged my marriage with a good partner. My husband had completed Ph.D and was working in a private college in Chennai. I was working in another college. I would very often go to the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in Chennai to pray. My husband tried to get a government job twice but he didn’t. Moreover, for two years, we were childless. Beloved, does your life look insipid with multiple layers of long-waits, anxiety, mental confusion, fears and doubts?  Is your situation pressing negative thoughts in your mind?  Just believe in the Word of God, “You have granted him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips” (Psalm 21:2).  He is a good father who loves to fulfil your desires.  We read in the Bible, “The desire of the righteous ends only in good” (Proverbs 11:23).  Wait expectantly with hope.  He will meet you soon with His goodness and crown you with His choicest blessings.

Prayer:
Dear Father,

You are the One who put good desires in my heart.  I believe that when I ask according to Your blessed will, You answer my prayers and You want me to prosper in everything as my soul prospers. I plead in Jesus’ name to grant the desires of my heart.  Let me enjoy grace after grace in my life.  Make my heart glad with the works of Your mighty hands, Amen.
