Dr. Paul Dhinakaran established Samiti for Education Environment Social and Health Action (SEESHA ) in 2003. During the last two decades SEESHA brought hope and care to 3.5 million individuals. Challenging deep seated community prejudices SEESHA reaches out to people in need. Rehabilitating the physically-challenged, impoverished and social outcastes.  Relief and rehabilitation of people affected by natural calamities, using funds raised entirely from India.

SEESHA works in 42 of the poorest communities in remote tribal, rural and urban slum areas. SEESHA\’s Community Advancement Program improves people\’s standard of living and quality of life .

SEESHA creates safe and secure happy childhood environments for children. 66 Child development centres provide quality and holistic education to needy children across the nation. 300 orphaned children receive monthly scholarships. 30,000 children receive school kits at the start of school year. 100,000 children get new clothes on festive occasions. SEESHA supplements educational efforts at state schools benefitting low-income and marginalised communities. SEESHA offers curriculum enrichment programs to help enhance student engagement in these schools. Every year SEEHSA offers scholarships for Poor students from all social & religious background. These  scholarships  are available for School  and University education. 

SEESHA-SMART Technical centres offer skill development and employability programs. These centres equip young people for an empowered life. SEESHA delivers environmental awareness programs through its youth clubs. The clubs promote green trends and sustainable environmental protection. Motivating the young to be stewards of their environment.

Hundreds of uneducated woman across India train at the SEESHA tailoring centres. These training programs empower and transform the women into breadwinners and entrepreneurs. Women also receive community health training to promote health. They become agents of positive change in their village communities. SEESHA provides differently abled women with 3 wheel motorcycles. 

SEESHA works among children with HIV and vulnerable sections in society. They receive regular nutritional support and care. Through skill development SEESHA brings Gypsies and Tribal communities to the mainstream. Special programs for Prison inmates ensure a new start after their term in prison. SEESHA supports Transgenders to lead a healthy and dignified life.

The SEESHA centre for well-being offers de-addiction and counselling services. While, SEESHA\’s Rehabilitation Centres and special education centres serve the differently-abled. Treatment, therapy and training specific to individual needs help focus on their abilities. Assistive devices like tricycles, cerebral palsy chairs, wheelchairs, retro-fitment motor vehicles, hearing aids. Help support the differently-abled on their path to becoming self-sufficient.

The SEESHA Old Age Care Homes offer supervised care for the elderly. Assiting their physical, medical, emotional and spiritual needs. Most inmates are lonely or abandoned by their families. Outreach programs bring solace to many senior citizens in rural India . These programs dispel their loneliness through love.

The SEESHA-Karunya Community Hospital located in Karunya Nagar. Offers quality and affordable healthcare services to the poor. The hospitals outreach programs provide a healing touch to the needy and suffering. Medical and surgical camps treat various ailments in tribal and rural parts of India.

SEESHA, and Karunya Institute of Technology & Sciences collaborate in research . To develop low-cost medical and diagnostic equipment.

Education & Research

Dr. Paul Dhinakaran is the Chancellor of Karunya  Institute  of Technology  and Sciences (Deemed  to be University), India .

A residential Deemed to be University established in 1986 . With 8000 residential students from 29 States and Union Territories of India. Students graduate in Agriculture, Technology, Engineering, Computer Sciences, Media, Management, Sciences, Arts and Commerce.  

Funded by contributions from people of India. Karunya provides Rs. 5 crores (US $ 700,000) as Scholarship to support needy students from all communities. The MHRD granted Deemed University Status on the recommendation and approvals from UGC and AICTE. It is a Christian Minority Institution.

Supports students from poor families in the local communities. Students receive  campus placements for jobs in top companies.Large number of students are first generation graduates in their family

The Deemed to be University excels in Sports & Social empowerment. Students train to work in the Villages through the Prime Minister\’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Alos work with communities to accomplish the Digital India Mission, Skill Training Initiatives.

Karunya ranks amongst the top 100 Universities in the nation.

He also founded the Evanhgeline Matriculation High Secondary School and the Karunya Christian School. Today these two schools educate 1600 children from all backgrounds.

Jesus Calls

Mission to bring solace and hope to millions of broken hearted people. Spearheaded by Dr. Paul Dhinakaran since 1982.

He holds rallies of hope through prayer across India. These rallies have attracted crowds nearly 5,00,000 people in one single meeting. In these prayer meetings people from all communities and faith gather to pray. He works with all Christian denominations across the nation.

In this mission, he has established 120 Prayer Towers across the nation. People in need can access the Prayer Towers anytime for Prayers. He established the Delhi Prayer Tower located in direct view of the India Parliament, the seat of Power. From here prayers are offered 24 hours each day for the nation and the Government. His vision to nations translated in establishing Prayer Towers in all major countries including USA & Israel. 

His \’Messages of Hope\’ in ten languages is broadcast on Television, Radio and Social Media. His inspirational messages are popular among all communities. His books on \’Prayer and Hope\’ bring comfort to millions of readers.

He conducts special prayer meetings to seek the Lord\’s blessing for the Government in each State of India. He has the privilege of meeting Leaders across the political spectrum. He is received warmly by many Chief Ministers of different provinces in India. On three occasions, he has the privilege of a private meeting with the Prime Minister of India.
