God is pleased with you – Shilpa Dhinakaran

“I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.” (Exodus 33:17)
Dear friend, God’s promise to you is from Exodus 33:17, “I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.” What a beautiful promise this is! The Lord says, “I know you by name and I am pleased with you.” The Lord also says in Isaiah 49:15, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” You might be suffering from loneliness at this time, there might be misunderstandings in your family and you might be away from your parents, or you might be away from your spouse, but the Lord says, “I love you My child and I know you by name.”

Whatever care you have, tell it to the Lord for He cares for you. The Bible says in Isaiah 43:4, “Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.” The Lord says He loves you so much that He will give nations in exchange of your life. What does that mean? God will give you the good stored up for others and He will save you from the evil that overtakes others. So don’t think that there is no one in this world for you. Don’t feel lonely. Don’t say that there is no one to hear your cry. Don’t think that there is no one to look at your tears.

You must have lost your loved one and that loneliness might be filling your heart with grief, but the Lord says, “I am with you.” Yes His promise in Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” He will be with you all the time. He will never depart from you. For we read in Psalm 139:8, “If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.” Yes, God’s presence will be with you wherever you are and He will be the One who comforts you and brings you joy. He will change every circumstance of sorrow into joy.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus,

Thank You for You love me very much. Thank You for I am precious in Your sight. Help me come out of my loneliness and depression. Fill me with Your presence. Help me to feel You close beside me. Change my sorrow into joy. Fill every empty place with Your presence. Fill me with Your Spirit.
