God Never Forgets To Comfort You! – Samuel Dhinakaran
“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.” (Isaiah 66:13)
Dear friend, it is a joy to write about God’s promise for you. Today, God promises you that like how you receive presents from your parents at Christmas, if you are ready to receive God’s gift to you now, He is giving it to you as in Isaiah 66:13, “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.”
We see that the kings and the rulers of this world are in a high position in this world that they are running after their glory and their name and they do not care about the suffering of the people. Because they are in such a high position, they forget the lowly. But our God Jesus, who is supreme and is in a place that is high above everything else, still takes time to come down to comfort you.
Isn’t that wonderful? The Bible says that He is a good Shepherd. He doesn’t want any of His sheep to have a frown on its face. Not one should be hungry and waiting for food. He instantly comes and makes sure that the sheep are fed and fed fully. God is doing the same to take care of you dear friend. When a man called Peter was facing difficulty, not able to catch any fish all night long, and failed in his fishing business and was washing his nets, Jesus saw the sadness on his face and He was moved for him. He told him, “Peter, do what I tell you.” When Peter followed His word, he got a boat full of fishes. Then he was so overjoyed. Jesus will comfort you in the same way with signs and miracles.
Prayer:
Loving Father,
Thank You for this beautiful promise that You have given me. I have full assurance that You will turn my failure upside down and make me prosper in all that I do. May Your praise be declared through all that I do.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
