No more sorrow – Stella Ramola
“You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.” (Psalm 30:11)
Dear friend, today God’s promise for you is found in Psalm 30:11, “You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.” Yes, dear friend you might say, ‘I am covered with failures. I am covered by sadness because of the loss of my loved one. I am covered with grief, with pain, with depression, with loneliness and with rejection.’ My friend, God wants to remove that and clothe you with joy.
God says that He will turn your sorrows into joy. Where does this joy come from? As it says in Nehemiah 8:10, “Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” When the joy of the Lord comes into you, you will be filled with His strength.
So whatever life throws your way, you should say, ‘I will be joyful because God takes care of my ways.’ When you claim that in your life, God will make it come to pass. Yes He will turn your situation around, your mourning into dancing and your sorrows into joy. So rejoice in the Lord and believe in it. As Habakkuk says in Habakkuk 3:17-19 you should also rejoice no matter what, “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.” God will make you rejoice and you will no longer remember your sorrow. Cheer up my friend. God bless you.
Prayer:
Loving Father,
Today I am walking in sadness, depression and loneliness. I have seen failures and pain. Lord, remove all of this just as You have promised today and turn my situation around. Fill me with joy. As Your joy fills my heart, make me bold and full of strength. Help me face life unafraid. Give me grace to enjoy life every day.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
