Perfect peace – Shilpa Dhinakaran
“The fruit of righteousness is peace.” (Isaiah 32:17)
Dear friend, today’s promise is taken from Isaiah 32:17, “the fruit of righteousness is peace.” Yes, because you have lived a righteous life in front of the eyes of God, the Lord is promising you peace today. He is going to fill your family with peace today. You might be having lots of misunderstandings in your family and your family might have been separated, yet the Lord says that He will fill you and your family with peace today.
The Lord also says that you will have no fear of the future. You will have no fear of your enemies. You will have no fear of the people around you as well. We read in Psalm 112:7&8, “They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end, they will look in triumph on their foes.” Yes, you will have no fear as God’s peace fills your life.
I saw this in my aunt’s life too. She lost her husband at a very young age, but she said, “Because the Lord is with me I will not fear anything.” We were worried about her and we didn’t know how she is going to survive, but the peace of the Lord filled her life and her family. In the same way, the Lord is promising you His peace today. The Prince of peace will fulfill His promise so receive the peace of the Lord in faith. There is also another verse in the Bible which says, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You” (Isaiah 26:3). Great things are sure to happen as you walk in God’s peace. God bless you.
Prayer:
Loving Father,
Thank You for comforting me through Your word. Thank You for promising me Your peace and protection. Remove every fear from my heart Lord. Thank You for You will do justice. Thank You for Your presence is with me and that is all I need. Help me to always be led by Your perfect peace.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
