perfect will of God – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
“…whoever does the will of God lives forever.” (1 John 2:17)
We read in the Bible about Anna who was a prophet. She became a widow at a very young age. She decided not to leave the temple of God and stayed there at all times and was prophesying (Luke 2:36-48). Today, people stagger at every loss. Unable to bear the loss, they slide into depression. But, Anna’s mind was stayed on God alone. She was surrounded by God’s peace and thereby was able to do God’s will till the end. In Isaiah 26:3, we read as, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
Whenever my son Paul Dhinakaran leaves to distant countries with regard to ministry, he gets troubled in heart to leave me alone at home and that too as I am a widow. But at those times, I would say, “My son, do God’s will. Do not worry about me. God will guide me.” Every morning when I wake up I ask the Lord, “What should I do today Lord for Your glory?” God speaks to me and uses me to bless others.
Beloved, turn your eyes away from all your losses. You have a race to run for God; a great plan to be accomplished for His glory. Look unto Him every day. He will unravel His heart to you. Ask the Lord, “Lord, What do you want me to do today?” Then the Lord will guide you and enable you to do His blessed will. Because, whoever does the will of God lives forever (1 John 2:17). Yes! As you surrender your life to God, you will be a blessing to millions. God will strengthen you with His divine strength and help you to win in every area of life. As promised in Isaiah 27:6, “In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit,” you will root and blossom again.
Prayer:
Dear Lord,
I bring all my tears, pain and losses to You. Heal me. Only You can heal me completely from deep within. Remove every scar of pain and losses. Fill me with Your divine peace. Open my eyes and ears to comprehend Your blessed will. Make me a blessing to many people. Let Your kingdom purpose be done on this earth. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
