Receive abundant life! – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
“I will pour … the Spirit of grace and supplication.” (Zechariah 12:10)
Whatever you ask God in His name, He will do it for you. He will give you everything richly for you to enjoy. In Ephesians 3:20 He says, He will give you immeasurably more than you ask or imagine. He wants your joy to be full (John 16:24). He wants you to be abound with His blessings. This month God promises that He is going to bless you with the Spirit of grace and supplication. “I will pour … the Spirit of grace and supplication.” (Zechariah 12:10). The Lord says, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14) To receive this blessing God wants us to repent from our ungodly ways and to pray. God’s Spirit of grace will help us to overcome our addictions, overcome the lusts and the ways of the world. His grace will forgive our sins, erase our past account of sins and make us a new person. God wants to heal our life to make us enjoy the abundant life He desires to give us.
If you choose to walk in His righteousness and seek His kingdom, He promises to give everything as added blessings in your life (Matthew 6:33). For that we have to say no to the things of the world and say yes to the ways of God. Obedience is better than sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22). Abraham obeyed God implicitly and that was credited to him as righteousness. Listening to God and obeying His Word will account as our righteousness. As you become a friend of God, God will open His plans to you and you will enjoy the blessings of His fellowship. You will walk in the ways of the supernatural God and the windows of Heaven will open showering goodness into your life. As you repent of the ways through which you have wounded God, God’s grace will flow through you.
Dearly beloved, many times we have intentionally sinned against God and that is called transgression. If we forsake our sins willfully, God is Faithful to forgive our transgressions. His blood is speaking good things on behalf of us, interceding for our forgiveness (Hebrews 12:24). Today make a decision to follow the Lord and His Word. Commit your life to God and be filled with the Spirit of grace and supplication and live a victorious life!
Prayer:
Loving heavenly Father,
I pray for Your grace upon my life. Forgive me. Wash me with Your blood. Transform me. Help me to have You before me always and follow You. Forgive me the ways I have pierced You and help me to live a life pleasing to you.
In Jesus Name,
Amen.
