Seek God continuously – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Mathew 24:35).
Are you worried over the state of your loved one today. May be you wonder if God could ever save him/her. Whatever be the situation I want to encourage you that with God nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37).

One day, a woman’s husband drank heavily and came home. He saw his wife reading the Bible. He got very angry and said, “Are you reading the Bible without caring for me?” He pulled the Bible from her and put it on the fire which was kept in the house to keep warm during the winter. On seeing this, she felt very bad and helpless. He said, “I put this book into the fire, let me see if there is any remaining” and went to sleep. The next morning he went to see if there is anything remaining in the Bible, which he threw into the fire last night. He noticed a small piece of paper which remained without burning. He took it with his hands and started to read, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Mathew 24:35). He thought nothing would remain and everything would be destroyed. On reading the scripture, he bitterly cried. Then he asked his wife and came to know about the love of Christ.

Yes, beloved, even in your family, husband, wife, children, relatives, and friends may be addicted to many things. Do not worry, but continue to pray for them. One day God will open their eyes. There will be showers of blessings in your family. Ask God with faith. The Bible says, “There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.”(Proverbs 23:18). If you read the Scripture and walk with Him every day, your family will also repent seeing you. According to 1 Peter 3:1-2, surely, you will win your family members by your behaviour without preaching. When your whole family lives with the fear of God, He will surely bless you. Wonders and miracles will happen in your life.

Loving Lord Jesus,

I believe You will change the situation in my family. Give me grace to seek you continuously without growing faint in my faith. With You all things are possible and let me see Your wonders and miracles in my life soon.
