The only way to come out of all your problems – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
“The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble.” (Nahum 1:7)
My precious child of God, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today, we are going to meditate on Nahum 1:7. It says “The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble.” In this world, we see many troubles and many heartbreaking things happening; but if you read 2 Samuel 4:9, David says “As the Lord lives, He has redeemed my life out of every adversity.”
In the world, all kind of adversity and trouble can come upon you. Maybe even now you are going through a troublesome situation. See what Job 15:24 says about man’s life in the world: “Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall prevail against him, as a king ready for the battle.” What should you do when you go through a troublesome period? If we read Psalm 66:13, it says “I will come into your house with burnt offerings.”
Yes, my dear child according to the above verse go to the house of the Lord and in the presence of the Lord, thank Him for the love He has shown to you. Thank Him for being with you even during this troublesome situation. All you have to do is just thank God. There is a prayer in Isaiah 33:2 and you can pray that prayer: “O LORD, be gracious to us; we wait for you. Be our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble.” According to Isaiah 40:31, “They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Therefore my child remembering all this and keeping these facts in your heart, give thanks to the Lord.
Prayer:
My loving Heavenly Father,
Thank You for today’s promise. I praise You Father for protecting me till now. Even now, I give all my troubles and problems in to Your hands. Just like You have rescued me previously, I ask for Your help even now.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
