Way to prosper in everything – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
“For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.” (Deuteronomy 7:6)
My precious friend, today’s promise is from Deuteronomy 7:6, “For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.” Your Lord has chosen you to be His treasured possession. So praise the Lord. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1:27, God has chosen the foolish things to shame the wise. He has chosen the weak things to shame the strong.
You might say, “I am a foolish and weak person.” But God says, “You are My treasured possession because I have chosen you. I will make you wise with My wisdom. I will make you strong with My strength and accomplishments.” In John 15:16 Jesus says, “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.”
Yes, God says, “I have chosen you to be My fruit bearing tree.” He has not chosen you to bear fruit in a season but forever. Psalm 1:3 says, “That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.” As you fear the Lord, you will bear fruits all through the year. You will be planted by the waters which means you will have all the provisions for your life. Whatever you do will prosper. You will have all the provisions, always bearing fruit and you will have success in everything. God has chosen you for this blessing. So say to yourself that you are God’s treasured possession. Be strengthened in the Lord and keep on thanking Him. You are blessed. Be a blessing.
Prayer:
Loving Father,
Thank You for choosing me to be Your child. Thank You for Your love. Thank You for calling my Your treasured possession. Help to be blessed in all aspects and to be a blessing.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
