What’s necessary to succeed in life? – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
“May God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face to shine upon us, that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations” (Psalm 67:1-2).
My precious child, greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Today, we are going to meditate on Psalm 67:1-2, which say: May God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face to shine upon us, that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations.” Dear child Psalm 128:1 says “Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways!” The verses in Psalm 25:12, 27:11, and 86:11 also say the same thing.
When I got married, I did not know much about how to run a family or follow the Lord. I was very weak in most things. As the Bible says in Proverbs 31:30, I had the fear of God; and because I had the fear of God, He led me beautifully in everything and made me successful in both spiritual and family life. Similarly, if you read Proverbs 28:18 it says “Whoever walks blamelessly will be saved.”
In the Bible, we read about Job. See what Job 1:1 says: “There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil.” All of a sudden, his life took a downfall due to many troubles. However, because of his righteous and blameless life, the Lord was merciful to him, guided him and redeemed him out of all his troubles in a beautiful way. We may face many evil, but Matthew 6:13 says “The Lord will save us and deliver us from all evil.” So my dear child look unto God to lead and guide you at all times. When you have the fear of God and lead a righteous life, you will be a blessed person.
Prayer:
My loving Heavenly Father,
Thank You for today’s promise. Help me to lead a righteous life. Father, let me seek Your guidance for everything in my life, so that I will bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
