You will be victorious – Stella Ramola
“I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
Dear friend, I am excited to write to you in this New Year. Today, God is assuring you a precious promise which is from Philippians 4:13, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Yes, my friend indeed you can do all things through Christ. Jesus Christ Himself will strengthen you in all that you do.
Even in this New Year, you might be saying I am starting a family life, starting a new career, or going to a new college. You might have many dreams lined up to accomplish great things or you might have interviews where you have to present yourself and you might be wondering saying, ‘How am I going to do this? What if I forget to do something? What if something I do goes wrong?’ You might be confused and keep thinking about all of these possibilities.
Yes dear friend, it happened even in my life. Once when I was about to sing on stage, I was telling my grandma next to me that ‘I was scared and nervous. What if I say the wrong thing? What if I forget the lyrics of my song? What if I get stuck? Oh no I am very scared.’ Then my grandma turned to me and she said, ‘Why are you scared? You have prepared very well! You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Say it again and again when you feel scared. God will definitely help you sing well.’ So at that moment when I was scared I kept saying the verse again and again. When I went on stage, I sang the song and I said all the things I had to say perfectly. God had blessed all the people who had listened to the song and kept me as a blessing that day. Yes dear friend in the same way whenever you feel you cannot do it on your own strength and you cannot accomplish all the things you are scared about, keep telling yourself, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” God will fill you with His strength and make you a blessing. He will accomplish great things in your life. So with this confidence go and be victorious.
Prayer:
Loving Father,
Thank You for this wonderful promise. I give all my plans into Your hands. Help me accomplish all the things you want me to do with confidence. Thank You for You will show me and others that it was not me who could do all these things but Your strength that is shown through me. Let Your name be glorified through this.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
