You Will Shine Like A Star – Stella Ramola

“so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” (Philippians 2:15)
Dear friend, God’s promise for you today is from Philippians 2:15, “so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” Yes, you will shine like the stars of the sky as you live a holy life.
 
Today is a special day because in the same day many years ago we were able to telecast our first Jesus Calls TV program. As Jesus Calls TV program entered into many homes it was able to share the good news of Jesus and bring light and salvation into every home.  Yes, dear friend, God is going to do the same for you as well and make you shine as stars in the universe.
So how do we shine like stars? The Bible says in Matthew 5:16, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” In the same way let your light shine before men through your good deeds that show Christ. The way we live our life is the evidence that we belong to Christ bringing glory to our Heavenly Father. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” In our life we may have many temptations, pleasures and pressure from the people around us to do the things that are not pleasing to God. But God says that we should love God and fear Him. Yes, be pure and blameless to shine like stars before men.
Prayer:
Loving Father,
 
Thank You for this promise Lord. Help me to be pure, blameless and right in word and deed so that people may glorify You as they see my good works. Give me grace to live right in Your sight and please You.
