You will Stand Strong
Dearly beloved, may the Lord bless you according to Psalm 75:3, where the Lord promises, “When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars.”
When situations seem to crumble around us, Psalm 75:3 assures us that God is in control. It is God who has the power to keep your life steady. You may say everything is collapsing in my life, and I am done. But God keeps your life steady and going because He has all the power and authority in heaven and on earth. Because God has all the authority and power in heaven and on earth, He alone can keep everything steady. The pillars here mean the righteous people. As we see in Galatians 2:9, James, Cephas and John were all called as pillars. God calls you, too, His righteous as pillar. He says, “The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God.” In the Jesus Calls Ministry, we call the prayer intercessors as pillars of our ministry because they are the ones who keep the ministry going through their prayers and tears, and thereby bless the people and bring miracles from God into their lives.
God has your back, too, my friend. Through the prayers of God and through the tears of Jesus, the Lord keeps you from falling. When I first started my ministry, God’s word kept me going. Now, as I serve the Lord, His word keeps me steady and moving forward. When I read James 4:7, it says, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” I held on to this word and submitted my life totally to God. Whenever temptations arose, I resisted the devil, and he fled from my life. It is difficult to resist the devil all alone, by ourselves, but when we are full of the Holy Spirit and the word of God, we can. The Holy Spirit within us will save us from falling down, and the word of God will keep us moving forward.
Psalm 37:23 says, “The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the Lord, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. When he falls, he will not be hurled down because the Lord is the One who holds his hand and sustains him.” Look how beautifully the Lord leads our life. He holds us by our hand, and He keeps us from falling. We will never fall down, for His grip is firm, and His love is unwavering. The Lord will keep us as pillars in the temple of God. Dear friend, you are the pillar of God, and He keeps you steady in your life.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I pray that Your loving hand holds me even now. Make me strong like an iron pillar, Lord. Let no evil touch me, and help to resist temptation. I rebuke every temptation coming into my life. Please remove all unwanted things from my life and enable me to be righteous. Let me become more righteous and holy with each passing day. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Anoint my head with oil and let my cup overflow. Lord, You make my life steady and keep me going. I can do all things through You who strengthen me. Thank You for being so close to me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
