Your Life Will Not Be Shaken! – Shilpa Dhinakaran

“Everyone who hears and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” (Matthew 7:24)
Hello friend, today’s verse is taken from Matthew 7:24 “Everyone who hears and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Everyone who hears the Word of God and puts it into practice will be built like the strong man’s house. A house which is built on a rock will never be shaken. In the same way, when you are built on the Word of God, you will never be shaken.

Many times you may read the Bible, listen to the Word of God, go to church listen to messages, but never apply it in day to day life. It might be jealousy about another person, thinking the other people have better life than you, gossip about others, even sin physically. Sometimes you continue doing the same thing even when you know it is wrong.
Friend, today commit your life in the Lord’s hand and tell Him: ‘Whatever I read from the Bible or listen from Your Word, help me to apply it in my life.’ When you do that, the Lord will make you strong like the house which is built on a rock. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:31 “Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” Yes, friend whether it is a simple thing like having food do it for God’s glory. You might be reading this meditation thinking that you are preparing for a big interview or exam, or in a position to take a very important decision in your life; tell the Lord that you want to do everything only for His glory and not with wrong motives. When you do this, the Lord will bless you. Just commit your life into God’s hands friend.
Prayer:
My loving Heavenly Father,

Thank You for today’s promise. Please forgive my shortcomings. Father, I commit my life into Your hands. Help me to do everything only for Your glory.
